At 10:30am on February 1, 2008, in the sound of firecracker, the last layer of wall plates of 3# absorber, owing to joint efforts of our Project Department and the Building Unit, Jiangxi Construction Engineering (Group) Corporation, was assembled to pairs, so far the installation of 3# and 4# absorbers of Yuzhou FGD project came to the end basically.

The successful top-out of two absorbers further created a good condition for the realization of duration target stipulated in the contract. To reach the scheduled target that the installation of two absorbers should be completed before the end of 2007,  Project Department called upon all construction units to have a full understanding of the availability of their labor resources (especially welders), hoisting equipment and materials, times of entry into the site of hydraulic lifting equipment and manufacturers¡¯ personnel, on basis of which, discussed and prepared detailed construction plan for each process with all construction units, and caused construction teams to strictly comply with these construction plans to ensure the realization of the duration of absorber installation. Three times of heavy snowfalls since the beginning of January brought great difficulties to construction, but construction units, unafraid of hardships, worked long hours lately in rain and snow, resisting adverse effects presented by bad weather and having won time for successful top-out of absorbers. The successful top-out of two absorbers relieved much pressure from sequential construction. With its further efforts in late stage, Project Department painstakingly achieved the duration target as requested by the Owner that both absorbers should be put into operation in 2008. The main milestones of absorber construction include: starting of absorber base plate installation on December 18; starting of pairing of first layer wall panel on December 25; installation of roofs of two absorbers on January 5; lifting up of first layer wall panel of 4# absorber on January 8; lifting up of first layer wall panel of 3# absorber on January 11; lifting up of last layer wall panel of 4# absorber on January 29; and lifting up of last layer wall panel of 3# absorber on February 1.
